To ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process, TrueLayer generally requires a set of key documents to fulfill our regulatory and internal requirements. During onboarding, you will typically need to provide:
- Shareholding documents: To understand your company's ownership structure.
- Business bank statements: To verify financial activity and evidence settlement instructions.
- A flow of funds diagram/explanation: To illustrate how funds will move through your TrueLayer integration.
- Evidence of directors: Documentation confirming the individuals holding director positions.
- Your AML Policy/Audit: For AML obliged entities to demonstrate your commitment to combating financial crime.
- Miscellaneous policies depending on the specific industry.
Additionally, depending on your entity's structure and risk profile, supplementary documents may be required, such as:
- Beneficial ownership details: For shareholders with over 10% holding.
- Evidence of Source of Wealth (SoW)/Source of Funds (SoF): To verify the legitimate origin of financial resources.
- Internal/external audits: To provide further assurance on your financial and operational controls.
Your Account Executive (AE) will guide you through the specific requirements for your application.
