Payments API v3 enables access to flexible integration options by offering developer tools which make the integration process smoother and quicker. Learn more about how mobile SDKs can make create a smoother UX, while getting you to market faster.
Mobile SDKs:
SDKs (software development kits) are tools used by developers to create applications for specific platforms or programming languages. Our mobile SDKs provide pre-built user interfaces for mobile applications that enable in-app payment experiences.
TrueLayer provides mobile SDKs for iOS and Android as an optional add-on feature to Payments API v3. Using a mobile SDK is a faster way to add payments to a customer’s app. However, since our SDKs include pre-built UIs, you will not be able to design your own UI, in the way that you can with a direct API integration.
Our mobile SDKs offer a range of benefits for businesses and developers, including faster and smoother integrations, the ability to build applications in more standardised ways and built-in support and expertise. They also create smoother user experiences, benefiting conversion metrics for businesses and improving user experience.
How it works:
Who should use mobile SDKs?
Our mobile SDKs are great for businesses that have an app and want to add instant bank payments to their app. It’s great for businesses with a low appetite for complex integrations or want to get to market fast, as it offers a prebuilt UI and offers a less developer heavy integration option. Since our mobile SDKs use a TrueLayer built UI, it’s a great option for businesses without a PISP license (businesses will not be able to use their PISP license if they do have one).
