Payments API V3 enables access to flexible integration options by offering developer tools which make the integration process smoother and quicker. Learn more about how the hosted payment page can decrease time-to-market and get you up and running faster.
Hosted Payment Page
The hosted payment page (HPP) is an external web page that facilitates online payments. It’s one of the easiest and most popular ways for businesses to accept online payments.
One of the key benefits of a HPP is that it’s a pre-built user interface. That means not only does it make the integration process simple and less developer heavy, it also reduces the number of API calls that your systems need to handle, as well as collecting any additional details from the user that their bank requires”. It facilitates a secure transaction and ensures compliance with PSD2 regulations.
QR code authentication
A key feature of the HPP is the ability for users making a desktop payment to authorise the payment via their mobile banking app. This makes authenticating payments on a desktop fast and easy by enabling users to take advantage of the simpler authentication experiences that many banks provide through their apps, such as face ID, fingerprint or PIN code
How it works
Who should use the HPP?
The HPP is great for businesses that have a low appetite for complex integrations or want to get to market fast, as it offers a prebuilt UI and offers a less developer heavy integration option. Since the HPP has a TrueLayer built UI, it’s a great option for businesses without a PISP license (businesses will not be able to use their PISP license if they do have one).
