This happens because Lloyds Banking Group does not yet support Chrome Custom Tabs or WebView. We are liaising with the bank to implement this in order to improve the user experience for LBG users.
This usually happens when an application implements either Chrome Custom Tabs, WebView or they load the service on a Google search, which uses Google Custom Tabs, on their Android device.

What to do next?
Set the default browser to Google Chrome or a different browser, such as Samsung Internet or Firefox.
- When using other browsers, please ensure that in the Browser Settings, you have enabled to open links in related Apps. You can find an example below for Samsung Internet:
- Please also ensure that the banking app is enabled under "Allowed apps".
Do not open the service from the Google search service.
