Banks that are part of the Lloyds Banking Group do not support Chrome Custom Tabs or WebViews for redirects. As a result, users may encounter errors during the authentication process. In some cases, this could lead to being redirected to a blank page or encountering a server error.
Solution
- Ensure the user has the latest version of the banking app installed.
- And Chrome is set as their default browser.
- Make sure that redirects occur through the browser itself, rather than within an in-app WebView or Custom Tab.
