Here's a list of things you can send to TrueLayer to help you get to the bottom of an issue with one of the interfaces:
- Screenshots
- Device and browser
- Browser logs.
Browser logs can be obtained by anyone using a modern browser and can tell us what happened in the background when an issue took place. Check more details below:
Using the Network tab
We will be using Google Chrome as an example, but this can also be done on browsers such as Firefox and Safari. Check links at the bottom of this page.
1. Right-click on the page you'd like to check for logs and select Inspect. This could be TrueLayer's Auth Dialog, the Online Banking page, etc.
Important: logs will only start being recorded once the Developer Tools is open. If your page has already loaded with the issue, you may need to refresh it.
2. Open the Network tab:
3. On the list of requests on the left-hand side, look for requests that are in red. Those are the ones that failed.
4. Send a screenshot of relevant requests in red, including Headers and Response.
Using the Console tab
Alternatively, you can also check for errors in the Console tab, and send a screenshot to TrueLayer:
