Is the name order taken into account in the Verification API?

The order of the names is not taken into account for the match score.

For example:John Smith and Smith John will both return a match score of 100.
Name abbreviations are not explicitly considered yet, but we return a match score which should help address this. 
If the strings are not the same, i.e. extra name or abbreviations, the match score will not be perfect but will most likely return verified=true and a high match score.  
For example:
  1. John William Smith  and John Smith  will return a 73 match score
  2. J Smith and John Smith  will return a 78 match score
