How do I activate my photoTAN app?
To activate the app, the following access data are required: the eight-digit access number, the six-digit PIN, a current photoTAN activation letter or alternatively (if activated) the mobileTAN procedure or the recovery function in the personal area of the website under Administration> PIN / TAN administration> photoTAN.
How many accounts can I use with the photoTAN app / reader?
The app or reader can manage up to eight different accounts.
I performed the update and I don't like the push function. Can I undo this?
No, you cannot downgrade. The update to the push function is an extension of the classic photoTAN scan function. The scan function can also be used and also works offline. To call up the function, simply touch the symbol on the bottom left of the app's start page.
Why do I still have to click on "Release" on the website for the push function? This is much easier with my other bank's pushTAN.

Does the push function now also work with FinTS apps or online shopping using the App2App process?
The push function is not yet available for use with banking software (FinTS) and online shopping apps on the same device. An extension is already in the works. Alternatively, the photoTAN scan process can be used with two end devices as usual.
I had to reinstall the app. Why can I no longer use my app to access multiple people?
After reinstalling or resetting the app, all linked accesses for a person can be set up for photoTAN-Push using this person's access data. The access data of other people can be set up on separate devices (smartphone or reader). Alternatively, the accounts of third parties can still be activated if the user of the app is given corresponding account and deposit powers. A power of attorney form can be found here .
I have made the update and want to activate access for other people. Is that possible?
It is no longer possible to activate additional access from other people after the update and reinstallation of the app. Activations by other people before the update can still be used to scan photoTANs after the app has been updated.
